Spooky Story Idea
First, we'll create a spooky story writing assignment for your classroom.
Brainstorming
- Character: Your class will create a unique character
- Plot: We will brainstorm a full story from the character they create and a story prompt that I provide
- How: Students will learn what questions to ask when creating their own stories
- What's next: I will show students what to do with their brainstormed idea, and how to turn it into a full story
- Assignment: Students will use what they learned in the workshop to complete the spooky story assignment
Printed Paperback Books
Your students' stories will be featured in their own FrightVision book!
Once all of the stories are submitted, I'll put them together into a book with a custom FrightVision cover made for their book, which will be EXCLUSIVE to your school.
Once paperback copies of the book are printed, they'll be sent to your school. Think of how excited your students will be when they see their story printed in a book!
Turn this into a Fundraiser
Schools have the option to use this workshop as a fundraiser. The books will cost schools approximately $8/book.
You can give students, their families, and the community the option to purchase books ahead of time at a higher price point. The profits would then go toward fundraising for the school.

Your students get to feel the sense of accomplishment after learning how to create their stories, then seeing them come to life in a book! AND FrightStorming can help raise money for other aspects of the school or profits can be used to cover the costs of the workshop.
