What is something you (or a character you create) is afraid of?
Write 300-800 words, including what the fear is, why you're afraid of it, and how you would try to address that fear, if you were a FrightVision scientist.
Then submit it!
The top fears... the most unique, fun, spooky ideas will be published in Project: FrightVision, a book that will be part of the FrightVision Universe.
Everyone who enters will get their name printed at the back of the book!
Kids 8-12 years old:
The top entries from the challenge will be published in PROJECT: FRIGHTVISION.
This book will be part of the FrightVision Universe... This is YOUR chance to really be part of the series!
WAIT... there's more...
Just for entering this challenge, you will get your name printed in the back of the book! How awesome is that... YOU can truly become part of FrightVision!
Help us share this incredible opportunity for kids to create some fun and amazing stories that will officially be part of the FrightVision series!
FrightVision is always trying to find new ways to incorporate kids into the series, rather than just having them as readers of it. PROJECT: FRIGHTVISION is taking that idea to the next level and giving kids the opportunity to have their writing published as part of the FrightVision Universe!
FrightVision is looking for new fears... tell us about something that you (or some character you make up) is afraid of, why you're afraid of it, and how you would overcome your fears. These entries should be between 300 and 800 words, and written by kids between the ages of 8 and 12 years old from anywhere in the world!
Your entry can be about anything... if you've been part of any of Culliver Crantz's FrightStorming sessions, you know that any fear is something we can work with! Create something fun, unique, different, and we'll do the rest!
These fears will become part of FrightVision and set the stage for future nightmares for unforeseen characters. Your fears could have a permanent impact on the FrightVision Universe!
Keep an eye on the FrightVision social media pages, @FrightVisionBooks, as we'll be adding more ideas for stories!
Have fun with it!
Create an awesome character or put yourself into this... it's totally up to you!
Visualize it and get lost in your creation!
Oh my! You're missing out! No entry for you! Just kidding!
You don't have to have read a FrightVision book to enter, but it couldn't hurt! Then maybe you'll understand what Project: FrightVision is all about... (check out The Cursed Coin for a good starting point!)
Everyone who enters will get a mention in Project: FrightVision.
If your entry is chosen as one of the featured new fears, yours will be PUBLISHED in a book with other fears written by kids! It'll be part of the FrightVision Universe!
The number of entries published will depend on the number of submissions. We are hoping to publish quite a few of these!
We will make an announcement as we get closer to the deadline!
