Award-winning author Culliver Crantz is the creator of the FrightVision middle grade book series.
From that, Crantz created "FrightStorming" sessions, which are interactive brainstorming sessions designed for kids in grades 3-6 to help show them how to create and cultivate their own ideas.
Warning!!! These aren't your typical author visit.
These are extremely engaging and encourage participation from all of your students! We will brainstorm our own story together with characters they create during the session!
Every one of these visits is different and has so many benefits for your students!
Your students will have a blast brainstorming an idea with award winning author, Culliver Crantz!

Since January 2020, I have done over 100 FrightStorming sessions all across the country--as far away as Alaska!
It has been incredible meeting and brainstorming with so many awesome students!
FrightVision is always trying to find new ways to make kids part of the series, rather than just readers of it.
Whether it's a new spooky adventure for kids to get lost in, a contest or activity to be part of, there is always something that FrightVision is doing for kids!
FrightStorming sessions will be offered during the 2021/22 school year as virtual or in person visits!

Sure, I'd love to visit each and every one of the elementary schools across the globe and have an interactive "FrightStorming" (brainstorming) session with your students ...
BUT that's not always possible.
However, I can VIRTUALLY VISIT all of the schools in the world and I'd love to do that. If I can't be there in person, let's set up a virtual visit where we'll still do our brainstorming session and it'll be AWESOME!

We'll discuss the main parts of a story and then, as a group, we will brainstorm all sorts of ideas. I'll show your students how I create a story, work in a group setting, find a way to put it all together, and give them tips that they can use at home with their ideas and stories.
They'll be excited and eager to create their own material.
WHAT DOES A SCHOOL BRAINSTORMING SESSION LOOKS LIKE?
Check out this video. It is similar to what I do when I visit schools ... the main difference is there aren't any kids providing ideas in this video
like they do when I'm with them!
I have so much fun working with the students, coming up with ideas on the fly, no matter how far fetched they are, and then trying to connect and twist our way to create something fun!
I can surely provide a breakdown of my typical event along with recommendation letters from teachers who I've worked with already, but check out the slideshow at the bottom of the page for some testimonials from actual students who took part in my
